Day 21. Cauda Pavonis/Bestia Fera Spiritus in Gallery X
Started off the day with a fabulously encouraging 1316 words written on 'Playing In Their Own Time.' Pleased that I managed to work it up a little more (in between packing a bag for Dublin).
Then off to Dublin and Gallery X for the opening of Cauda Pavonis/Bestia Fera Spiritus with Giovanni, Deirdre and the boys. The works by the Australian artist were surprisingly pretty, very reminiscent of late Symbolist/early Expressionist work...
There was also a performance which we only witnessed about a third of, where the artist delivered a remarkably odd barefoot capering prance while playing chess while playing the electric voilin while throat-singing. Here's myself, Deirdre and Salva watching it (courtesy of Fiona Killeen's photography). Salva rated it '99.99% good.'
