Day 2. Chapter drafts, website design and making sushi...

This morning I sat down and tried to journal away some of the shadows lurking at the back of my mind. The most outstanding of these was my overdue chapter for the Imagining Irish Suburbia collection, so I vowed to knunckle down today and stop avoiding it. So I braved myself to write an apologetic email, offering to send in the finished article later next week.

Hours (and many cups of tea) later, and I had it! My first draft.

The relief...

Then I reformatted this site to make it more attractive, and following that, Scott and I made sushi.

A very good day.

I might even do some more tinkering with a short story later...
